Well, I kind of just did. I’ve been watching a TV series, and last night I watched it for so long that I didn’t get much sleep and now I’m really tired.
Jiaying
不是啦，Rob。虽然我说了 “tell me about it”，但我并不是想知道你为什么这么累。在口语中，我们用固定表达 “tell me about it” 来表示同意某人刚刚说的话，你对此事也有同感或有过类似的经历。所以，我刚刚是想说 “我也很累”。

So, when you said ‘tell me about it’, you didn’t want me to tell you about it. You were saying you felt the same. Ah, that’s a bit strange, isn’t it?
