主持人菲菲说她今天已经做了足够多的工作，所以她打算 “call it a day”。同事 Rob 说一天有24个小时，菲菲才工作了八小时，所以还不能 “call it a day（收工）”。听他们的对话，学习如何正确使用地道英语表达 “call it a day”。

Rob
Ah! I sure have. And there’s plenty more to do before home time!

Feifei
Well, after this programme, I think I’ll call it a day. I’ve got my yoga class to go to.

Rob
Call it a day? You’ve only been here seven hours and there are 24 hours in a day.

Feifei
I know that, Rob. But I’ve finished my work, so that’s my day finished! 我们用表达 “call it a day” 来表示 “到此为止，结束工作”。I’ve done my work, so I really must call it a day – I don’t want to miss my yoga class.

Rob
Haven’t you got time for some examples?

Feifei
Of course!

We’ve been working on this presentation for hours now. Let’s call it a day and carry on tomorrow.
