The story
Flash floods hit central Texas in the USA on Thursday night and Friday morning. More than 100 people have died in the floods and many are still missing.
The floods caused the Guadalupe river to burst its banks and water levels rose by eight metres in just 45 minutes.
Victims include 27 girls and staff from Camp Mystic a Christian all-girls’ summer camp.
Camp Mystic said in a statement on Monday, “Our hearts are broken alongside our families that are enduring this unimaginable tragedy.”
