one of the best in the world (hyphenated when used as an adjective before a noun)

- This school has world-class facilities.

If we say something or someone is in a different class, then they’re really good. They’re better than everything else.
That restaurant is just in a different class. It’s just so good!
A similar phrase is to say that someone or something is in a class of their own. They’re so good that there’s nothing like them.
As a tennis player, she’s in a class of her own. No one else even comes close.
Someone who does things really well is a class act. We use it when we’re really impressed with them.
That pianist really is a class act. I’ve never seen someone play so well.
Something or someone that is world class is one of the best in the world.
We’re building a world-class research lab. It’s one of the best anywhere.
