1. “Earn money” 赚钱

2. “Bring in money” 获得收入，挣钱
- I need a new job – this one just isn’t bringing in enough money. I want to earn more.
- His business was not bringing in enough money, so he sold it to someone else.
3. “Raise money” 筹款，集资
- We might be able to raise some money from a bank loan.
- Our neighbourhood is raising money to plant more trees.
4. “Squander money” 挥霍金钱
- I had a lot of money, but I squandered it all.
- Squandering money is not something to be encouraged.
5. “Waste money” 浪费钱
- I wasted a lot of money on this project, and it did not produce a good result.
- Stop wasting your money on buying cheap products, they will break soon!
6. “Stash money away” 存钱
- She has stashed away more money than she will ever need.
- The old couple have enough money stashed away for their retirement.
7. “Set money aside” 把钱留作他用
