On Monday, Shanghai was hit by Typhoon Bebinca, the strongest since 1949, with wind speeds of over 150km reported.
25 million people were advised to stay at home and 400,000 people were evacuated by Chinese authorities.
Shanghai is now fixing the damage – over 1,800 trees have blown down and 30,000 homes have lost power.
